Welcome!

A new year is bringing new challenges and opportunities. I'm the cautious type and am therefore sometimes slow about embracing new technology. Thank goodness I have a critique partner, Christine Glover, who is not only helpful, supportive, and encouraging but she's pushy. And I mean that in the most flattering way.
So, I'm starting this blog to share some small pieces of my life with you. Like my writing and my quilting some days will be more productive than others.
I look forward to sharing my American Dream with you.

One of my favorite quilts as it combines two of my favorites - hearts and the Red, White and Blue

  6. Thanks Lindi. I wish I had made this quilt but it was a birthday from my sister in law. I'll be posting pictures of my quilts soon. Have one I am working on now, hoping to finish soon as I already have another waiting for me to start

  13. Thanks Betty and Patricia!
I admit I was hesitant...Christine has actually been after me for most of a year to do this but I sincerely believe the timing wasn't right then.
I really love the theme and look of the blog, think it's in keeping with my love of quilting, all things Red, White and Blue and of course, romance!
    Best to you both
    Pam

  14. So I've learned something new about you already. I had no idea you are a quilter. Me too! At least, I *WAS* a quilter, once upon a time. But once a quilter, always a quilter, right? Enjoy the journey! :-)

  15. Pam, I should probably qualify and say that I don't actually piece the quilt together. I'm what Deb Dixon refers to as a "topper". I like doing the hand stitching, especially on cold nights when I have all that lovely material draped over my lap! :)
    Thanks for checking in.
